  • Do you have rooms available in Short Term Rehab or Bethany Home and what is covered in the room rate?

    Krista (320-763-2186) is the admission coordinator for Bethany Home and Short Term Rehabilitation.  Her expertise regarding admission process, payment, insurance, medication individualized plan of care, what to bring, personal items, furnishings, coordinating transportation is a great resource for your first call. 

    Room availability fluctuates daily.  Bethany Home provides a high level of nursing care services.   Included in your daily rate will be: private room, full nursing care available 24 hours per day/7 day per week, medication administration, bathing assistance, linens, meals, snacks, activities, housekeeping and laundry services.

  • What other services are offered to help older adults stay in their homes?

    Some individuals who live alone may enjoy or benefit from our Adult Day Services.  We believe by staying active, socializing, exercising and eating well balanced meals, participants will have the skills, strength and ability to stay in their homes.  Day services also offer an excellent opportunity for care givers or spouses to rest, complete daily chores, and go to appointments.  To learn if Day Services is an option for you call Carla at 320-763-2181. 

  • How can I learn more about Memory Care Assisted Living?

    Ecumen Bethany provides Memory Care services for people experiencing mild to moderate memory loss and/or complex medical needs. Our household provides a safe environment with secured entrances. We have onsite licensed nursing staff and/or resident assistants available 24/7, which allows us to meet the needs of those looking for the security of round the clock nursing care. 

    We offer 3 levels of care to meet individual needs.  Patti (320-763-1122) is available to answer questions about suite availability, the move in process, completing an application and scheduling a tour.

  • What does Lakeside Affordable Housing mean?

    We have 159 independent living apartments on the shores of Lake Winona.  Each apartment is subsidized through HUD (Housing and Urban Development) where a portion of your rent is paid, with most utilities included.  Rent is based on monthly income after medical expenses.  Let our housing staff meet with you for a tour, explain the application process and estimate what your monthly rent would be. 

    Should there be a need for assistance with nursing or personal cares, our Service Coordinator is available to assist in finding a Home Care provider to help you stay in your apartment.

  • How do I know Ecumen Bethany Community is right for me or a loved-one?

    Ecumen Bethany is a mission driven, nonprofit, senior living community offering Short-term Rehabilitation, Residential Care Center, Assisted Living Memory Care, Adult Day Services, Affordable Lakeside apartments and Home Care. An informative Admissions Team will work closely with you and your family to determine care needs and assist with making that important decision.

  • If I am interested in living in your community, where should I begin?

    Our campus offers a wide array of services based on an individual’s needs.  From living in your own apartment independently to the care center we are able to support the needs of each individual.

    We have 2 people for you to connect with initially.  If you are unsure of the service you are looking for, either will be happy to direct you.

  • Food and Dining

    Dining Services at Ecumen Bethany takes great pride in the variety of choice menus and quality of food served restaurant style.  Residents in Bethany Home, Short Term Rehabilitation and Memory Care receive meals included in their room rate.

    Our residents have the choice of eating in their room or joining others in the dining rooms for a more social experience. The menu is changed twice each year to reflect seasonal favorites. We do shop locally and utilize locally grown produce whenever possible.

    Residents who live in the independent apartments are welcome to dine in the lovely Kalina Dining Room by purchasing guest meal tickets. The meal can be also picked up “to go”.  Guests are welcome to dine as well!

  • How can I stay active at Ecumen Bethany?

    Honoring individual choice is the highest goal at Ecumen Bethany.  Across our campus, each area of service provides calendars of activities and special events. Offerings are based on expressed interests by residents. 

    Through entertainment, games, outings, crafts, social gatherings, and a wide range of other creative and interactive activities provided, residents can stay active and involved resulting in a happier and healthier lifestyle. Our team believes that life is more than existing day to day and residents should be living and experiencing all life can offer.

    The lovely, spacious Chapel is the center for most entertainment and special events as well as Sunday Worship and services offered by area parishes to stay connected with their congregation members. 

    Outings are available for shopping, dining, fishing, boating as well as relaxing leisure drives around the lakes or countryside.

    Our lakeside gazebo and sitting areas allow for relaxation. Picnic areas are available to all our residents and families.
